Omega Chronometre ref.2367
A beautiful and honest example of the Omega Chronomètre ref. 2367, dating to the 1940s — part of Omega’s legendary 30mm chronometer series.
This particular watch is fitted with the high-grade Omega caliber 30.10 RA PC, one of the brand’s most respected chronometer-rated movements of the period.
What truly sets this example apart is its uncommon radium dial configuration, featuring bold Arabic numerals and matching radium hands. The dial has a distinctive, almost “sector-like” layout, giving it strong presence and character. Finding this configuration with original radium is increasingly difficult, making it a more desirable and less commonly seen variant within the 2367 range.
The dial itself is in excellent, untouched condition, showing a beautiful and even patina developed over decades. The printing remains crisp and well-defined throughout.
The stainless steel case measures a large 35.5mm, making it one of the more substantial and wearable examples from this era. The case appears to be unpolished, retaining its original sharp edges and proportions.
Inside, the chronometer movement performs as it should, reflecting Omega’s focus on precision during this period.
The movement shows honest signs of age, with a light patina consistent with its vintage character, and has just been fully serviced by my watchmaker. It is running strong and accurately, just as it should. The watch comes with its original box, adding to its overall appeal.
An honest and attractive example, combining originality, size, and a less commonly seen radium dial configuration.
